Barbara

....this is another of my dear friends, Barbara...the somewhat crappy snapshot doesn't bring out the true beauty of the lovely copper metalflake paint job...old school Fender bass all the way, named for a red haired cheerleader i had a crush on when i was a freshman...she was a sophomore, an older woman and made completely of unobtainium...oh, and her last name was Copper, hence the connection...

I love that old classic metalflake look. Reminds me of those Big Puffy tuck and roll metalflake amps they made then too.
Thanx for sharing!

Sorrow, how could you have known that i used to date one of the Butt Sisters, but i am just a wee bit taller than the stogie-smoking troglodyte in the video...

...and i have no bass named "Bertha"...

Sorrow said...

Now that is a crying shame!
I think Bertha would be a Fabulous name for a big old base..
Maybe an upright one...
LOL
Isn't that song priceless?
"gotta find a woman..gotta find a woman.."
giggle
