home

truck is unloaded
gear rolled into it's
assigned space
basses all safe and
sound(less)
hands are toast
after five straight nights
of delivering "the bottom"
even typing is more taxing
than i wish to deal with
at this moment...

more stories to come...

Perhaps you should chill them on an icy pint of something pale?

I'm glad you're home... thank you for the cards... they came yesterday.

Love.

I need to let you know: Fresh & Easy has center cut AND thick cut bacon (their brand) for $1.99 a package... for those late night PB&B's - just purchased 6 packages, LOL.

2 came.

And yes I do.

And yes, it is.

Bushels and bushels of pecks.

Stock up love, and freeze!!! I learned something really cool about freezing bacon - I can share if you wish.

I'll be sure to have my Poise pad on when I read it (that was for Wood Song - long story)!!!

yes...please share about the cold storage of swineflesh...always good to have some around for those late-night PB&B cravings...

Okay. Freezing swine flesh. Wax paper, sprayed with 'Pam' (or whoever, *snort*). 8" pieces. Lay the swineflesh side by side about 1/2 inch apart on the wax paper. Cover with another piece of wax paper - again, sprayed with 'Sue' (or whoever) 'Linda' side to the swine flesh. Put on a cookie sheet and freeze - this will only take about 20 minutes. This way, they freeze flat and separate. Then... Just roll them up and put in zip lock bags and toss back in the freezer (get all the air out). Single swineflesh strips when you need them at 0300.

The 'Jennifer' is very important - without the 'Vicky' they'll taste waxy.

*snort!*

*snort!*... how apropos!

Oh... by "roll them up", I mean, leave them in the wax paper.

ahem.

thanks for the tip...i'm thinking about getting one of those nifty food vacuum gizmos as well...

Unknown said...

yes...i knew you didn't mean for me to spark up a rasher or two...

ahem...indeed...

Food gizmo: $19.99 at Big Lots RIGHT NOW. Comes with rolls and rolls of bags (that you cut off to the length you want).

You've become terrible... blunt.

Ahem.

sparrow said...

terrible=terribly.

You are in no way terrible.

Unknown said...

blunt...what an amusing word...so many meanings...
...and i strive mightily to not ever be terrible at anything or to anyone, though i have fallen short of this on occasion i am ashamed to say...

sparrow said...

Name one that matters.

Can't, can you?

Oh, lord, I'm hungry now. PB&B sounds really, really good.

Had my first Peanut Butter Burger, and it was awesome although I had my doubts before the first bite. I'm all for PB on anything, blunt or otherwise :-)

yup...peanut oleo and chocolate go well with just about anything...

...concerning being terrible, two things immediately came to mind...
...firstly, causing my mom great disappointment when i dropped out of art school and secondly, driving away my dear Pixie all those years ago...i'm sure i could think of more, but it would probably just make me crazier than i already am...best that those things stay lost in the mists of time...
...i'm immensely thankful that friends can reconnect, that love remains...
