sitting here watching the cursor blink

waiting for the coffee to kick in

so i might more clearly think...

cruel summer has returned in earnest

and days are spent hidden in the dark

nights still sizzle and spark

marking time until coolness

and sanity return...

seasons will cycle as always

september is inevitable

clarity is not so certain...
