...on the blog of my dearest friend Pixie, there was a recent comment from one of her readers stating that peacemaking/peacekeeping is very hard and constructive while pacifism is easy and often destructive...this offends me to the very core of my being...
...i have experienced the nightstick, the water cannon, the rubber bullet and the tear gas cannister all first hand and i can testify that it's not easy taking a beating and nearly dying for the sake of peace and love...it rises above nationalism and religious dogma...you can keep these things, you retarded tribalists, you fundementalist freaks...
...i hope that someday there will be a great awakening, but i'm not holding my breath...

...and actually, truth be known, it's more a state of puzzlement and pity...
Tiz all very sad....... why cant people just treat other people with love and respect.... they do will be old one day.. those that neglect and harm the eledery of today.....

There hasn't been an awakening in a few thousand years, so don't expect one anytime soon. All we can do is be the best humanes we can, and lead by example, with a push to the masses when an opportunity arises.
